Simple Tools Are All You Need
This guy has a nice workshop, but you don't need one to make a great sounding Native American Style Flute out of an agave or yucca stalk.
The booklet lists everything you need. Here's the list:
- An agave or yucca stalk
- Hand saw
- Knife
- Pencil
- Rotary tool and Sanding drum attachment
- Dust mask or dust-removal vacuum
- Craft knife (snap-off blade type)
- Wood glue
- Masking tape
- Drill and bits
- Sand paper and Sanding block
- 1/2 inch wooden dowel
- Jeweler's files
- Leather (or other cordage) to tie fetish down
- Sealer/finish (I like water-based polyurethane)
- Disposable latex gloves
- Small paper cups
- Electronic digital tuner, or smart phone digital tuner app
